Can adaptBe open to the possibility that your next job may be two or three part-time or contract work. Accepting that the working world has changed so you do not shut themselves from the opportunities. Think about the skills and expertise you can contribute to the success of potential employers, rather than a specific position or role (for example, "I am a seller of shoes'). Remain open to new ideas, think creatively and take risks.
Be persistent and patientOne of the main reasons why people do not achieve their career goals is because they give up too early. Search job is hard work and there are times when you will be discouraged. If your search does not produce the results you want, avoid blaming yourself and try different ways of doing things. Remember to also be patient. Your best efforts will not always produce immediate results. Do not take offense when entrepreneurs take their time in responding to your call or application - many are very busy.
Staying focusedJust about anything will sound better than looking for work, but do not be confused. Your priority is to find that new job. Willing to explore and pursue every job lead, but the time and effort focusing on quality leads. The quality leads and quality of effort is more important than quantity.

Develop a routineDo your job search routine and stick to it. This will help you stay motivated and focused. If you are unemployed you may find it helpful to structure your day with:a. develop a schedule and sticking to itb. setting your alarm clock to wake upc. dress as you do for work.
Plan weekYou Set aside certain days or certain hours in the day, to search for your job. Keep in mind the core business hours of the desired industry. Consistent in the amount of time you spend every week looking for work. Regular business are more likely to bring a gift. Write a 'to do' list to keep you on target - a weekly one earlier in the week and one daily each morning. Prioritize, but to ensure balance. On a typical day you should work on all parts of your job search (for example, generate new leads, follow the instructions, applications to write letters and prepare for the interview). You may find that you are more effective on several tasks at certain times of day. For example, applications to write a letter when your mind is fresh and high energy level.
Establish plan targetsIdentify what you accomplish. For example, if you set the hours of 9 am to 12 noon on Monday to respond to newspaper ads the weekend, you can write a five-goal application letter. Tuesday morning the goal to register with the company employs four workers, and 1-4 may be scheduled for making direct telephone contacts. Realistic, but challenge yourself. If you set the schedule make sure this is one that can be achieved. When you perform your tasks, you will feel a sense of control and achievement.
